OLIVIA LYNCH

Chief Executive Officer

Olivia brings a strategic and collaborative approach to Keep Australia Beautiful Victoria, and a passion for delivering better environmental and sustainability outcomes.

Olivia has strong skills and experience in strategic leadership, advocacy, program and partnership management, communications and community engagement in the non-profit and government sectors both in New Zealand and New York. Olivia headed up Auckland Council’s Partnerships Team and has worked in leadership roles for Bike Auckland and the Brooklyn Greenway Initiative.

SIMBA MATSHE

Program Manager 

Simba overseas KABV’s volunteer programs including Stationeers, Adopt a Roadside, and Corporate Volunteering. With experience in business, hospitality, and entertainment, he thrives in organisations united by a common purpose.

Simba’s love for creativity, leadership, and the environment drives his commitment to building a sustainable future. He understands the significance of community in achieving collective goals and excels in empowering diverse groups of volunteers.

EMMA WHITE

Stakeholder Engagement Manager

Emma has over 10 years of experience in event management with a degree in Natural Resource Recreation and has a passion to create a more sustainable environment.

Emma’s interest in working for a nonprofit came after doing an internship with the “W.O.L.F Sanctuary” managing and planning their fundraising events to support the wolf-dog breeds that were given a second chance at life. Emma lives in Melbourne and loves supporting communities to Keep Australia Beautiful Victoria.

ENZO BRUSCELLA

Chair

Enzo Bruscella has over 35 years’ experience in senior executive roles in State and Local Government including 14 years as CEO of a State Government agency and 8 years as CEO of a national recycling company. He has 12 years of board experience with 4 years as Director for the Waste Management Association of Australia and 8 years as Director Keep Australia Beautiful Victoria.

Enzo has qualifications in Civil Engineering, Management and in Municipal Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration. He is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

DICK GROSS

Deputy Chair

Dick is a former four time Mayor of the City of Port Phillip and former President of the Municipal Association of Victoria. Fellow at the University of Melbourne. Currently writer, composer and producer of “Not Finished With You Yet”.

KIRSTY RICHARDS

Secretary

Kirsty is passionate about community action and the environment, and about communicating the amazing stories of community collaboration, initiative and success.   She’s been a KABV Board member for over a decade, having worked with Yarra City Council, and before that an industry organisation,  encouraging people to change their behavior to recycle more, and litter less.

KARTIK SHAH

Treasurer

Kartik has more than 14 years of experience in accounting roles, including 6 years with the Private Clients practice of PwC Melbourne, covering all aspects of external financial reporting and financial due diligence. Kartik possesses strong analytical skills, has a versatile understanding of business operations and processes. He will be taking on the position as Treasurer for KABV.

AMANDA SHEAT

Amanda Sheat leads ARENA’s Corporate Affairs team responsible for strategic communications and engagement. With more than 15 years’ experience across public affairs, marketing communications and operations in Australia, the UK and New Zealand, Amanda worked in media, advertising and PR agencies before moving to public service in 2018.

Having worked in sectors including environment, regulation, emergency management as well as FMCG, technology and not for profit, Amanda brings a strategic eye for issues and reputation management, brand, government relations, digital and content, industry communications and community engagement.

Amanda is passionate about finding innovative ways to drive change in meaningful ways, that community is at the heart of decision making and ensuring our world is liveable for future generations.

KIRSTIN COOTE

Kirstin is an experienced executive officer with a demonstrated history of working with local and state government both nationally and internationally as well as directly linking to business and industry. She is skilled in leadership, coaching, government, team building, and training delivery. She is a strong achieving professional with a BSAppSc(Hons) focused in Environmental Science from RMIT University.

MARCUS SEAL

Marcus has spent the majority of his career in entertainment marketing and has held several executive roles at multi-national and privately-held organisations.

He is currently General Manager of the iconic Rock Posters company where he has overseen meaningful evolution in the outdoor advertising business in terms of leadership in environmental care.

Under his watch Rock Posters has been recognised as a winner of the prestigious Premier’s Sustainability Award and has also received the City of Darebin’s Sustainability Leaders Award.

Marcus has been an active volunteer with Keep Australia Beautiful Victoria’s Stationeers Program where he has regenerated a substantial parcel of land in his neighbourhood, he is also a director of Green Music Australia,  a registered charity, harnessing the cultural power of our influential music scene to create a greener, safer future.

MARISSA KATSIS

With a passion for protecting Victoria and its people from harm, Marissa has more than 15 years experience in the design and delivery of harm prevention programs and projects across the fields of occupational health and safety and environment.

She currently leads the Environment Protection Authority’s Preventative Projects unit focusing on the greatest risks to the environment and human health from pollution and waste. Through her leadership, this unit delivers impactful outcomes-based interventions through the delivery of education, awareness, compliance and enforcement. Save

As an experienced regulatory practitioner focused on behaviour change, Marissa’s skills span strategy, theory of change, project management, MERI (monitoring, evaluation, reporting and improvement), stakeholder engagement and leadership.
